Academic quality and distinction marked the 12th graduation ceremony of Mantissa College on 12th November 2011 at Glenmarie Holiday Inn, Shah Alam.

Among the graduates are graduating from the International Executive Master of Business Administration (IEMBA) awarded by Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) awarded by Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), Diploma in Business Administration (DiBA), and Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) programme. students

Four students were presented with Special Awards for their high achievements in each subject. Top student Mr Kelvin Uyong (MBA, PGSM) was awarded as the best student for the Postgraduate (IEMBA) programme, Ms Chan Meng Yet swept three Special Awards for the best student for the Degree (BBA) programme, outstanding achievements for being the President of Toastmasters Mantissa Club, and an active member of the Student Council of Mantissa College, meanwhile Ms Zhu Wei Wei also received Special Award for Business Studies (BBA)

Dr Mathieu Guerin, the French High Commissioner to Malaysia was also present at the ceremony. “The PGSM programme has a significant education link to France,” he said in his opening address. “Mantissa's PGSM  has produced more than 400 graduates and this attests to the quality of the programme here. With a faculty composition of lecturers that bring the students the best of France's cutting edge innovation and strategies in education.”

Mr Idowu Adebayo, representative of the Nigeria High Commissioner to Malaysia was also present at the ceremony to witness the event.

Dr William Chua, Principal of mantissa College said, “Mantissa is proud to be the only college in Malaysia offering French Business programme from Degree up to Postgraduate level with MQA approval. Being the pioneer of French Business programme in Malaysia, we have seen many of our PGSM graduates go on to become leaders in all sections of Malaysian society. In his speech, he also mentioned our graduates are currently attached at United Nations, President of China Automobile, Microsoft, Tan Chong Edaran and lots more.

Dr William Chua said in his final closing remarks, 'Our 12th Graduation is yet another significant milestone. It took much hard work and dedication to get us here. The interactive learning style and flexible learning approach which is the signature of the PGSM programme, and the case study oriented module has surely benefited all our postgraduate students and helped them to apply their knowledge in practical setting'.
