Student's Pass Information

Smooth Study Pass Process.

International students wishing to pursue full-time studies in Malaysia are required to hold a Student’s Visa (Student Pass) in order to attend physical classes.
Mantissa College provides assistance to submit your application with Immigration Malaysia (via EMGS-Education Malaysia Global Services). The granting of the Student’s Visa (Student Pass) is subject to approval by the Immigration Malaysia.

New Application

New applications must be submitted 2 to 6 months prior to course commencement. Applicants may remain outside Malaysia during processing. Social Pass (Tourist Visa) holders are not eligible for stay extension by EMGS/Immigration Malaysia. Upon eVAL (eVisa Approval Letter) approval, applicants must enter via KLIA/KLIA2 for Special Entry Stamp and complete a post-arrival medical check up to obtain the Student’s Visa (Student Pass).

After the application fees is paid to Mantissa College, new international applicants must prepare the following documents required by Immigration Malaysia and EMGS-Education Malaysia Global Services:-
- Educational Certificates
- Educational Results
- Passport (Bio-data page)(photocopy)
- Picture (Passport-size photo with white background)
- Health Declaration Form
- Additional documents on a case to case basis (if applicable)

Processing Time

The normal processing time is 6 weeks upon receipt of the Student Visa (Student Pass) application and required documents. However, some applications may take a longer time to process. Applicants will be notified of the outcome via email. You are advised to check your email inbox (including spam and junk folders) regularly.

Yes. Foreign professionals and entrepreneurs with a valid work permit who wish to study at Mantissa College must apply for Permission to Study from Immigration Malaysia. Approval is subject to Immigration’s discretion.

The Graduate Pass is a Social Visit Pass allowing international graduates to stay in Malaysia for 12 months after completing their studies. It enables travel and employment in permitted job sectors without employer sponsorship.

- Stay in Malaysia for up to 12 months post-graduation
- Work freely in approved job sectors
- Dependents are eligible to join under the Dependent Graduate Pass

Applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a Malaysian institution
- Possess a valid Student Pass at the time of application
- Have a passport with at least 18 months validity
- Be covered by active health insurance
- Provide a personal bond backed by a Malaysian citizen earning at least RM1,500/month
- Have no criminal convictions in Malaysia

- Asia-Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan
- Europe & North America: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, United States
- Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain
- Asia (Special Conditions): India* and China* * Valid until 31 December 2026; requires a letter of good conduct

No. The Graduate Pass allows international graduates to work without requiring an employment sponsorship.
